Three men arrested after car stopped in Queen Street, Gravesend

Three men have been arrested after their vehicle was stopped by police on routine patrol in Gravesend.

Officers were in Queen Street at around 8pm yesterday when the vehicle came to their attention.

They stopped the vehicle and searched three men who had been inside.

An 18-year-old man from Folkestone was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.

Another man, 20, from Chatham, and an 18-year-old man from Gillingham were both arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

All three have been remanded in custody.
