Firefighters called to Wallis Park in Northfleet after three people stuck in lift

Firefighters were called to a housing estate in Northfleet last night after three people got stuck in a lift.

The crew from Thames-side arrived at the incident in Wallis Park at 7.30pm and worked for three hours to free the group.

The lift had become jammed and the firefighters were called after engineers could not fix the problem.
