Jazz Goraya of Nisa Local, London Road, Northfleet, gives £250 to Kasbah

A charity that supports people with disabilities and learning difficulties has two reasons to be grateful to a shop in Northfleet.

Jazz Goraya from Nisa Local in London Road not only gave Kasbah £250 in customer donations but also offered for one of its members to volunteer in the shop.

Kasbah teaches life skills such as cooking, budgeting, travel training and problem solving and arranges work experience placements to help its clients gain independence.

Scott Matthews, acting house co-ordinator, said: “We’re very grateful. This is the second time they’ve given us a donation. It will go into general funds.”
