Fire fighters put out blaze at vehicle storage yard in Albion Parade, Gravesend

Two fire engines attended a blaze at a vehicle storage yard in Gravesend earlier this afternoon.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 3.01pm to reports of a fire in Albion Parade.

Fire fighters used a compressed air foam and hose reels to extinguish the fire.

There are no reported casualties and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: "Officers were called at 3.47pm on Tuesday 11 July to a suspected arson in Albion Parade, Gravesend, where it was reported that a number of vehicles were on fire at a business.

"Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended. No injuries were believed to have been reported.
