Teenagers from Maidstone and Dartford arrested for suspected theft and drug possession

Two teenagers fell from a moped before being arrested on suspicion of theft and drug offences.

Police were called following suspicious activity being spotted in Eynsford Road, Farningham, at around 10.30pm on September 7.


When officers asked the driver to stop the vehicle he drove onto a grass embankment causing him and his passenger to fall on to a verge.

No injuries were reported.

A 16-year-old boy from Dartford and a 17-year-old boy from Maidstone were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, as well as possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Both suspects were released from custody pending further investigation.
