Woman dragged into alleyway in Knockhall Road, Greenhithe

The victim of a vicious alleyway attack has warned others to be on their guard.

Lauren Croucher was grabbed by the arm and dragged into an alleyway as she walked along Knockhall Road in Greenhithe, after leaving her boyfriend's house.

She struggled and shouted and was able to break free from her attacker and escape back onto the main road.

Describing her ordeal, she said: "I got off the bus at and was walking to my house which is literally a two or three minute walk.

"He only had one intention as I ran away with my phone and bag still intact but please warn your family and younger members about this.

"It makes me so angry and scared to think this could of happened to anyone and that the man is still out there."

Miss Croucher suffered serious bruising to her face in the attack, and has since posted an appeal on Facebook to track down her assailant.

Police are now hunting the masked man, who targeted Miss Croucher around 8pm yesterday.

The man, who was wearing a black hoodie, black gloves and possibly a balaclava, fled down the alleyway.

He is white, 30 to 40 years old, 5ft 8ins and of medium build.
