Steve Brown wants his Ebbsfleet players to forget the disappointment of their FA Cup exit when they resume their Skrill South promotion push on Saturday.

The Fleet manager felt his team deserved to win their derby tie against Dartford, in which two missed penalties ultimately saw them crash out.

His anguish was mirrored by the players in red shirts at full-time but the visit of Concord Rangers to Stonebridge Road this weekend presents a chance to get the defeat out of their system.

Brown said: "We had a good go on Tuesday night but we can’t dwell on what’s gone.

"Our focus becomes Concord Rangers. It’s one game at a time for us.

"What I saw over 180 minutes against Dartford tells me that we fight, that the Bishop’s Stortford performance (a 3-2 defeat last Tuesday) was out of left field.

"We should have more points than we’ve got but we’re only three points off the play-offs.”
