Ebbsfleet United boss Daryl McMahon on the visit of Wrexham

Ebbsfleet have another chance to boost their play-off hopes when Wrexham visit Stonebridge Road on Tuesday night.

Daryl McMahon's side are seven points behind AFC Fylde with two games in hand after putting together an eight-match unbeaten run.

But Wrexham need the points too, knowing victory in Kent could lift them from sixth to second in the National League

Fleet have taken points off all the sides above them except Wrexham, who beat them 2-0 back in November.

And they fought back from 2-0 down to draw with leaders Macclesfield in a thriller on Saturday.

"We can't wait," said McMahon. "It will be a great game.

"I'd like to think, over the years I've been here, we've thrived in those big games - especially here.

"When we've had big moments go against us, we tend to bounce back.

"We've got good character in the group and we look forward to Wrexham.

"They know they won't get an easy game on Tuesday night.

"They probably had someone here on Saturday or they will have watched us before and we look forward to seeing them on Tuesday night."
