Ebbsfleet United sign former Whitehawk striker Danny Mills

Ebbsfleet have made Danny Mills their first summer signing.

Mills scored more than 100 goals during five years at Whitehawk and played against Fleet several times including the National League South play-off semi-final in 2016.

The 26-year-old was Whitehawk's top scorer three years on the trot and played more than 200 times for the club following a move from Carshalton in 2012.

Fleet's strikeforce last season included Danny Kedwell, Aaron McLean, Bradley Bubb and Darren McQueen.

McQueen is contracted for next season while every member of the promotion-winning squad has met with manager Daryl McMahon over the last two weeks.

The club is expected to announce its retained list shortly.
