Hartley Country Club were crowned Premier Division champions for the third time in a row without a ball being bowled on Saturday.

Only one match was completed in the Shepherd Neame Kent League programme as heavy rain fell across the county, and as soon as Bickley’s home game against Beckenham was abandoned it meant they couldn’t catch the league leaders.

Whitstable’s relegation was also confirmed from the top division.

The one game that was completed saw Old Wilsonians 2nds earn a winning draw at Broadstairs 2nds in 2ndXI, Division 2. Chasing 245-7, the home side held on, finishing on 163-7.
