Ebbsfleet were held to a goalless draw
on home turf against in-form Braintree Town in the Blue Square Bet
South.
The unbeaten visitors started the
match at Stonebridge Road well and Sean Marks twice went close
early on.
Liam Daish’s (pictured) side
improved in the second half and Michael West fired narrowly over
and with ten minutes remaining former Fleet man Jamie Guy drew a
good save from Preston Edwards.
Fleet could have won it late on with
Ram Marwa smashing an effort just over and West’s curling shot
going just wide.
