Liam Daish looks to increase the options in his Ebbsfleet United squad

Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish is working hard on adding to his squad as his new-look side continue to find their feet in Blue Square Bet South.

He ran the eye over a couple of trialists in a midweek reserve game, ahead of the visit of Staines Town to Stonebridge Road on Saturday.

Fleet included Ricky Shakes in the side for the 3-3 draw against Witham in the Capital League on Wednesday night

Daish said: “Staines will be another tough game and we are just looking for the next win.

"The lads are doing alright at the moment but we need a few more options from the bench, and that’s what I working on at the moment.

“It might be a little bit easier now that the transfer window has closed, and clubs now know where they are in in terms of squad strength."

Daish has one target in mind, who has scored goals at a higher level, but is without a club at the moment.
