Ebbsfleet United boss Liam Daish is looking forward to ending Blue Square Bet Premier season against Lincoln City

by Andrew Gidley
Ebbsfleet United manager Liam
Daish admits he will be relieved when the final whistle is blown on
the Blue Square Bet Premier season on Saturday
afternoon.
A win against Lincoln in their
1pm kick-off at Stonebridge Road could see them finish
13th.
Daish (pictured) said: "I
will be glad when it’s over. The last month has been very
difficult, just getting teams out, and a lot of it has been done on
goodwill, with players playing when they needed a rest.
"We have got ourselves over the
line and I can’t stress how important that it is."
Keeper Lance Cronin could return
after a groin injury, while striker Nathaniel Pinney may also be
available after having fluid removed from his thigh. Skipper Paul
Lorraine completes his three-match ban after being sent off against
AFC Telford.
Daish said: "It will be nice to
finish the season with a win, which will cap a decent season on the
pitch.
"The finances haven’t made
things any easier, and injuries haven’t helped, we have had a lot
of players with operations, making things really
difficult.
"We have to learn from it and
make sure we don’t find ourselves in the same
situation."
