Joe Howe completes clean sweep of awards at Ebbsfleet United presentation night

Boss Liam Daish has praised Joe Howe after the defender
completed a clean sweep of the major awards at Ebbsfleet United
this season.
The 24-year-old, who clocked up 45 games in all competitions,
won the Fleet Trust, MyFC, manager’s and players’ player of the
year in the presentations made at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Craig Stone was another winner, while boss Liam Daish won the
Bruce Sewell Outstanding Contribution Award.
Goalkeeper Preston Edwards won Daish’s nomination for young
player-of-the-year, and shared the sponsors’ player awards with
Stone, top scorer Calum Willock and Tom Phipp.
"Joe’s awards were deserved," said Daish (pictured). "He has
really come on, played a lot of games this season, and been very
consistent, qualities that showed why his peers at the club voted
for him."
On his own award, Daish added: "It’s always nice to be
appreciated, and I see it as recognition for the consistency and
longevity in the job."
The Fleet boss, who celebrated his seventh anniversary in charge
in February, has won huge plaudits this season for guiding the club
to retain their Blue Square Bet Conference Premier status.
