Herne Bay photographer Kerry Riley issues appeal for witnesses after driver crashed into field fence and left the scene

A horse owner has appealed for help to track down a motorist who crashed into a field fence at her farm then left the scene of the accident.

Professional photographer Kerry Riley noticed the damage to the boundary in her field in Stubbs Farm in Whitstable Road at 2.20pm yesterday (Wednesday).

She said: “They didn’t report it to the police. They have damaged my fence and left the scene without so much as a note.

“It was reported by a member of the public but they didn’t get a registration number. Someone else did a hit and run on my field fence about three years ago.

“Luckily my horse is fine as he was in a different part of the field. But that’s not the point.”
