Herne Bay crash leaves motorcylist injured in Mickleburgh Hill

A motorcyclist has been hurt in a crash with a car in Herne Bay this afternoon.

The man, in his 50s, is thought to have suffered a serious leg injury in the collision in Mickleburgh Hill at about 12.45pm.

Fire crews were called to the scene following initial reports that the biker was trapped, but their involvement extended only to providing first aid until paramedics arrived.

Police were also called to help divert traffic.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment.
