Car fire on Old Thanet Way at Greenhill roundabout

A driver managed to escape unhurt after his car burst into flames near roundabout in Herne Bay.

Witnesses said it happened at around 6pm on the Old Thanet Way close to the Greenhill roundabout.

Firefighters were called to the scene and managed to safely put out the blaze.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
