Domino's Pizza to open High Street store in Herne Bay

A multinational pizza company wants a slice of the action in Herne Bay, announcing plans to open a new store.

Dominos Pizza will be taking over the former Bentincks Bakery in the High Street, and have already began leafleting to local residents about the opening later this month.

Area manager Bob Dhillon is hungry for success, and said up to 20 new jobs could be created for pizza makers, call staff and delivery drivers.

He said: “We’re really looking forward to opening our doors and delivering freshly made pizzas to people in Herne Bay.

“We’re keen to hear from applicants in the local area who have a passion for freshly made pizza and can deliver exceptional customer service.”

Mr Dhillon said he will be an Age Positive Employer offering jobs to applicants of all ages, with training in dough making, food hygiene and road safety.

The company boasts a total of 696 stores across England, and as many as 11,000 franchise stores worldwide.
