Driver injured in road rage attack at junction of Greenhill Bridge Road and Old Thanet Way in Herne Bay

Police are a hunting a thug who attacked a man in a road rage incident in Greenhill.

The driver of a 4x4 struck a man driving an orange Vauxhall Corsa at the junction of Greenhill Bridge Road and the Old Thanet Way between 6pm and 6.15pm on Tuesday.

He had gestured to the Corsa driver to stop and then got out and assaulted him while he sat in the car.

The victim got out of his car and the offender hit him again. He suffered cuts to his face.

The suspect is 5ft 6ins tall, slim build and has long dark hair. He was wearing a grey shirt and had a young child in the silver or grey 4x4.

Sgt Alan Pedwell said: "We would be keen to speak to anybody who saw this assault or who can help us trace the driver of the 4x4."
