A man missing from Herne Bay since Friday has been found safe and well.

John Hollingsbee-Pert, 26, went missing just after midnight and police voiced concerns for his safety.

He was later seen near St Peter's Road, Margate, at about 7am.

Police announced just before 6pm this evening that he had been found.

A spokesman said: "We'd like to thank everyone for sharing our appeal."
