Eastbourne police think wanted man David Kean could be hiding in Herne Bay

Police hunting a tattooed Glasweigan wanted for recall to prison think he may be hiding in Herne Bay.

Detectives in Eastbourne want to quiz 43-year-old David Kean over a number of alleged theft offences.

He is also wanted for failing to comply with the terms of his prison release licence.

Police say he may be in East Sussex, but is also familiar with Herne Bay, Blackburn and the Govan area of Glasgow.

He is described as white, heavily built, balding, 5ft 8ins tall, with hazel eyes and dark brown facial hair.

He has 'Daddy's Little Angel' tattooed on his left arm and 'Daddy's Little Princess' on his right.

Also on his right arm is a tattoo of an oriential black dragon and on his right shoulder is chinese writing.

PC Jonathan Boatwright, from the Eastbourne police force, says: "If you know where he is, or have any other information, please contact us on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call us on 101, quoting serial 6 of 6/1.

"You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
