Thanet Way crash leaves woman trapped in her car after smash with ambulance near Herne Bay

A woman was cut free from her car last night after a crash with an ambulance.

Fire crews, paramedics and police were called to the Thanet Way A299 near Herne Bay at around 10.30pm last night, where a woman was trapped in her car.

Fireman from Margate and Herne Bay used hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue the woman but crews say there was no visible injuries.
