The Winch’s Field boss was pleased with his team’s 5-0 win at Southern Counties East League Erith Town on Tuesday night and suggested his starting line-up in the final warm-up game at hiome against North Division side Barkingside on Saturday (3pm) could offer a few clues as to who starts the following weekend.

Kane Phillips, Danny Walder (penalty), Sam Hasler, Mark Lovell and Jamie Turner netted against Erith in a match played at Cray Valley’s ground in Eltham.

Denly said: “It might have been seven or eight by the end and we could have been three or four up in the first 20 minutes had we been a bit more ruthless. It could cost us against teams in our own league.”

He added: “We were solid, kept a clean sheet and had quality on the bench and among those not involved.”

“I have also got a fully-fit squad, which I will make the most of as well.”

Denly added: "Barkingside will be a good test to show how good we are."
