Taxi driver threatend with baseball bat on A20 near Hythe

A taxi driver has been dragged from his car and attacked by two men armed with a baseball bat.

It happened on the A20 near Hythe after he parked up on a grass verge in the early hours.

A vehicle pulled up behind his and two men got out, opened his door and pulled him from the car and pushed him onto the bonnet.

They tried to hit him with the baseball bat and then got back into their car and sped off.

He later discovered his wallet had been stolen.

Police have now released an e-fit image of one of the suspects following the incident which happened about 3am on Tuesday, May 12.

They want to hear from anyone who knows the identity of the man or who has other information.
