Police are appealing for information after £250 worth of damage was caused to a car in Lympne, Hythe.

Two scratches were gouged into the driver's side door of a blue Honda Jazz which was parked in Harmen Avenue.

The marks are about two feet long each and were caused sometime between 5.50pm on Friday and 10.30am on Saturday.

The value of the damage caused is estimated at £250.

Police are now urging anyone with information to come forward by calling 01303 289453 quoting reference ZY/039723/14.
