Firefighters were called to a skip fire that spread to three garages in Hythe last night.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to put out the blaze, which started in a skip in Albert Lane.
The fire destroyed one of the garages and also caused damage to the other two.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is not known.
