Hythe: 10 streets targeted by criminal damage as objects were thrown at cars and homes

People with CCTV cameras operating in different points of a town have been asked to come forward after a number of criminal damage incidents.

The police are investigating after vehicles and property were vandalised in Hythe overnight between Sunday, July 10 and Monday, July 11.

It is reported that damage was caused in Church Road, Oak Walk, Hillside Street, Bartholomew Street, Dental Street, High-Street, Red Lion Square, Cinque Ports Ave, Park Road and Theresa Road when various objects were thrown at vehicles and property.

Police cons Kevin Marsh said: "We are keen to speak to any witnesses to these incidents or anyone who has any information regarding those who are responsible.

"We would also appeal to anybody with private CCTV footage that shows the incidents occurring to make it available to police."
