More than 20 firefighters have been tackling a blaze at Chatham Docks.
Five crews were called to a fire at the Mittal Steel warehouse at the site off Pier Road at 6.40pm yesterday.
The fire was located in machinery inside the building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used jets to extinguish the flames.
Crew Manager Darryl Spicer, from Medway station, said at the moment they believe the fire was caused by an electrical fault in one of the machines.
