Red Nose Day calls to be manned by AmicusHorizon staff at Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne

Staff at a housing association will help man the phones for Red Nose Day.

Volunteers at AmicusHorizon’s Response contact centre, based in Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, will take donation calls on the night of the comedy fundrasier on Friday, March 13.

More than 100 staff will man 65 telephone lines for the show, which happens every two years.

Team leader Rebecca Tracy said: “We’re delighted to have been chosen to take donation calls for Red Nose Day 2015.

“Each year we strive to take part in a project that gives something back and Red Nose Day will be our biggest ever.”

Red Nose Day has raised more than £960 million since it launched for people in the UK and Africa.
