A trio of companies are supporting the county's charitable sector by backing a workshop event.
The Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, Burgess Hodgson chartered accountants and Jelf insurance are all supporting the KM Charity Team Forum.
Key staff at all 650 Kent schools, together with 4,000 Kent charities, will be invited to the event at the hotel on Friday, October 3.
It will includes a variety of workshop sessions to support and advise the work of the good causes.
Jelf and Burgess Hodgson will host a session to advise the third sector on how professional organisations can support and guide good causes through recent legislation.
One of the most popular sessions is staged each year by Simon Dolby from the KM’s charity department, which briefs good causes on how to apply to be KM Charity of the Year.
"The workshop sessions to spread best practice in schools sound particularly interesting and I know will be of great support to primary schools..." - Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel general manager Dominic Di Cara

Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel general manager Dominic Di Cara said: “We are delighted to support this important event for schools and charities in our county.
"The workshop sessions to spread best practice in schools sound particularly interesting and I know will be of great support to primary schools.
"I’m very much looking forward to greeting delegates this autumn in our Heart of Kent Suite.”
