Broadcast RF in Dartford bought by Euro Media Group which has worked on the Monaco Grand Prix, the Tour de France and the Olympic Games

A broadcasting company which rents out radio camera kit has been snapped up by a French media business for an undisclosed amount.

Broadcast RF, based in Dartford, has been bought by Euro Media Group, a broadcast company which has supplied equipment for the Monaco Grand Prix, the Tour de France and the Olympic Games.

The deal is designed to improve the international company’s ability to offer radio frequency products, which is the Kent firm’s speciality.

Broadcast RF has supplied equipment to events like the the FIFA World Cup, the Six Nations Rugby tournament, the Ryder Cup and the Open Golf Championships.

Euro Media Group chairman and chief executive Thierry Drilhon said: “This acquisition gives us the opportunity to become the undisputed worldwide leader for any kind of RF solution.

“Broadcast RF is a highly-respected provider of RF transmission solutions with a strong market recognition.”
