Daniel Finkelstein to address Swale Means Business Conference

A former adviser to the Prime Minister and award-winning journalist will be sharing his insights with businesses.

Daniel Finkelstein OBE will speak about government policy at the Swale Means Business Conference next week.

The ex-chairman of the Policy Exchange think tank became a close adviser to John Major and Conservative leader William Hague.

He used to walk the corridors of 10 Downing Street, attended cabinet meetings and met American presidents and world statesmen.

Cllr Mike Cosgrove, cabinet member for regeneration at the council, said: “He has the inside track on the corridors of power, and his vast wealth of knowledge means he will be able to give local firms a real insight into Government policy in the years ahead.”

The Swale Business Conference is taking place at the Coniston Hotel in Sittingbourne, on Tuesday, November 10 from 12pm to 7.30pm.
