FM Conway moving to new headquarters in Sevenoaks

A company which maintains roads in about half of London’s boroughs has moved into a new headquarters.

FM Conway had been based in Dartford since 2000 but is moving its 250 staff to a three-storey office block on the Vestry Industrial Estate in Sevenoaks.

It bought the 40,000 sq ft building, formerly known as Becket House, in March last year and has carried out a refurbishment.

The business, which saw turnover grow 40% last year, carries out construction works for London’s road network as well as maintaining many of the capital’s parks, stadiums, venues and communities.

It will keep its former Dartford head office and convert it to an expanded logistics hub, alongside its materials recycling and crusher facilities already at the site.

Chief executive Michael Conway said: “Thanks to this move, we now have a headquarters that reflects the scale and ambition of the company as we look to continue our success in the years to come.”
