Leading economist Professor Jagjit Chadha to give lecture at University of Kent

A leading economist will give a lecture on the state of the UK economy since the Brexit vote.

Professor Jagjit Chadha, who is director of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, will speak about the body's investigation into the nation's finances since the EU referendum in June 2016.

Prof Chadha, who works at the School of Economics at the University of Kent, is an expert on financial markets and monetary policy, as well as aspects of monetary and financial history.

He is also a part-time professor of economics at Cambridge and has worked at the Bank of England and as chief quantitative economist at BNP Paribas.

He will speak in Keynes Lecture Theatre 1 at the University of Kent's Canterbury campus on Thursday, February 22 from 5pm.
