Lydden Hill and Buckmore Park announce commercial partnership for 2017 season

Rallycross circuit Lydden Hill and karting track Buckmore Park have become commercial partners for the 2017 season.

The two Kent racing venues have “a number of ideas for joint mutual working” said Louise Price, marketing manager at Lydden.

The announcement comes two months after a big blow for the track between Canterbury and Dover.

Organisers of the FIA World Rallycross Championship announced they will move the prestigious British round to Silverstone from 2018.

Ms Price said: “We are excited to be forming a commercial partnership with Buckmore Park and look forward to working with them this season. W

“We have a number of ideas for joint mutual working in the pipeline, across karting, bikes and cars, which we hope to announce soon.”

Matt Rogers, marketing manager at Buckmore Park, added: “By teaming up with Lydden Hill we will both benefit from each other’s extensive knowledge and experience in our own chosen field.

"This will provide an exciting and unique opportunity for both venues to support each other going forward.”
