Alex Auger, founder of fruit juice maker Think Press, based in Lordswood, Chatham, has a Kent Foundatoin mentor and went to last year’s A Blast! event.

She said: “The structure and atmosphere of the event were fantastic.

“I quickly found I had things in common with lots of the young entrepreneurs that I met, and the more experienced business people were more than willing to give me advice and point me in the direction.”

Kent Foundation director Paul Barron said: “In my 8 years with the Foundation I have met many potential, enthusiastic and inspirational young business people, who have been able to develop their ideas in to sustainable businesses.
