Design agency Lemon Creative wins award for packaging for fourth straight year

A design agency picked up an award for its packaging for the fourth straight year.

Lemon Creative, which counts model maker Hornby among its clients, continued its run at the national Solutions Awards at London’s Café de Paris.

The company, based in Bossingham, near Canterbury, picked up the prize for its sales-doubling packaging for Canterbury-based Premier Diamond Products.

Director Drew Selman said: “Lemon Creative has always been known for branding, and for toy packaging design, but getting this award for a technical product shows our versatility.

“To be honest, we weren’t sure we would get to the final, as we were up against some much more glamorous products.

“But this packaging really is testament to the power of great design.”

Sevenoaks-based creative print company Bridge Media Group also took home a trophy, winning the design category for a press kit for Sony’s Wipeout Mega Collection.

Mr Selman added: “There’s so much amazing creative talent in this county, but because we’re so close to London, Kent’s creative businesses sometimes get overlooked, so it’s good to see it recognised at national level.”

The national Solutions Awards are run by Earth Island, a media, marketing and publishing company based in Tunbridge Wells.
