Dymchurch Amusement Park owners invest £500k in roller coaster set to create 50 jobs

A seaside amusement park is poised to create about 50 jobs this summer after its family owners injected half a million pounds.

Dymchurch Amusement Park has launched the town's first roller coaster in time for this year's peak season.

The attraction has been owned by the Woolls family for 23 years. They also run the arcades in Deal.

Headed by Mark Woolls, they have spent £500,000 on the new ride, dubbed the Family Coaster.

Spokesman Andy Stevens said: "We are proud to be investing in creating a large number of jobs at the park, as well as investing in an exciting new rollercoaster for the park itself.

"This thrilling Family Coaster rollercoaster is a first for Dymchurch Amusement Park, and a sure-fire fun ride to amuse and delight all, from your little ones right through to everyone who's young at heart.
