Facts International wins market research award

A market research company has won an award for its street interviewers.

Facts International won the prize for best face-to-face data collection at the annual Market Research Society Operations Awards at Revolution in London’s Tower Hill.

It is the third time the Ashford-based company has won the prize for its research – this time for its National Rail Passenger Survey.

Its team of 300 face-to-face interviewers distributed 260,000 surveys at more than 700 stations to deliver reports for 20 train operating companies.

Facts chief executive Crispin Beale said: “I’m incredibly proud of the work the whole team has done to update and improve this nationally important passenger survey and believe that the recognition is truly deserved by each and every one of the people involved.

“Our work to make the National Rail Passenger Survey even more efficient and effective has only just begun and this award marks the beginning of a long and successful journey with our client Transport Focus.”
