Forza Industries based in Ashford aims to expand in US after securing £200,000 investment from Royal Bank of Scotland

A dietary supplements supplier has set its sights on the US market after bagging a £200,000 investment from Royal Bank of Scotland.

Forza Industries, based in Ashford, secured the cash after growing its turnover to £3.5m in three years of trading.

It sells products to blue-chip high street names and moved into larger premises last year to hold more stock and house its 20 admin and distribution staff.

The company has grown its reputation with endorsements from Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews and ex-TOWIE star Sam Faiers.

The firm aims to use its cash injection to win new business and improve its product range.

Forza Industries director Karen Page said: “We have built up Forza over the last seven years to become a credible supplier of dietary supplements which is recognised and supported by high street brand names and department stores, amongst others.

“Given our performance so far we are excited about expanding our offering into the US market in early 2015 as demand seems to be high for our type of products..." - Forza's Karen Page

“Our strategy for buying the premises next door is to bring everything in house and will provide us with the space and capacity to do so.

“Given our performance so far we are excited about expanding our offering into the US market in early 2015 as demand seems to be high for our type of products.

"This will create jobs both here in the UK and US and will witness significant business growth.”

RBS Invoice Finance manager Steve Taylor said: “During the short time I have been working with Forza, I have been impressed with the company’s passion and energy.

“I am confident they will quickly outgrow their working capital facility given their positive results and future plans in the US and will ensure I stay close to their business to fulfil their short-term business goals. I wish them the very best of luck as their future plans evolve.”

Miss Page added: “Steve has guided us through the process of utilising our Invoice Finance facility and provided us with the peace of mind that we have an invoice finance partner on board to take away the daily pressures SME’s like Forza Industries face.”

Forza Industries have been nominated for a Label of the Year award, to be announced in London in the autumn.
