NIC Instruments works with High Threat Search and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (bomb disposal) teams who have a requirement for lightweight, robust equipment. We design and manufacture lightweight unmanned ground vehicles (robots), Search Mirrors and Hook and Line (a rope system designed to move suspect devices at a 100m safe distance) allowing teams to rely on equipment to achieve tasks, ensuring rapid and safe keeping of country infrastructure and public places. All equipment is designed and manufactured in our UK Folkestone facility.
