Mega Growth Head

MegaGrowth 50 - celebrating the 50 fastest-growing businesses in Kent and Medway

DEADLINE 5PM JUNE 1 2022

MegaGrowth 50 - the annual list of the fastest-growing businesses in Kent - is returning.

Now in its 19th year, it took a break during the challenges brought about by the pandemic, but now MegaGrowth 50 is mounting a comeback.

WHAT IS MEGAGROWTH 50?

Kent's annual list of its fastest-growing businesses is put together based on the average turnover growth of privately owned businesses that have a minimum turnover of £1million, as stipulated in full accounts registered at Companies House across the last four years.

Businesses with notable turnover growth over recent years that do not register full accounts at Companies House are also recognised and are invited to submit their accounts for consideration.

The deadline for all entries is 5pm on June 1.

WHO ARE THE ORGANISERS?

MegaGrowth 50 is compiled and sponsored by KM Media Group, business advisors and accountants Kreston Reeves and law firm Brachers.

HOW TO ENTER

If you have filed a full set of accounts at Companies House in each of the last four years you do not need to fill out an application form as your figures will be downloaded by the MegaGrowth 50 project team.

Others who wish to apply should complete the application form here. It is free to apply.

If you have any queries or are uncertain of your eligibility to apply, contact enquiries@krestonreeves.com.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

All successful application forms will require verification. You will be contacted by a representative from Kreston Reeves who will ask for evidence of your financial statement.

Those making the list will be invited to a special breakfast presentation at the Tudor Park Marriott Hotel, near Maidstone, in November. The full list will be published in November both on KentOnline and in our newspapers.

"It’s always great to see Kent businesses doing well and the USP of the MegaGrowth 50 awards is that unlike traditional business awards, it picks up fantastic success stories of businesses who don’t ever shout about it. Kreston Reeves has been honoured to sponsor MegaGrowth 50 for over 10 years and a part of recognising and awarding Kent and Medway businesses for their growth and making this a great place to do business. We are delighted to welcome Brachers this year as our new sponsorship partners of MegaGrowth 50 and look forward to working in collaboration with them on this project.”

Nigel Fright, Managing Partner at Kreston Reeves

"This year we’ll be celebrating those who have not only survived but thrived in the face of the recent challenging economic environment. As a firm, we love a good success story and we’re lucky to work in a county with so many thriving and entrepreneurial businesses. We’re looking forward to hearing about the achievements of local organisations across Kent and Medway, particularly the hidden gems that MegaGrowth 50 has always been so good at putting in the spotlight.”

James Bullock, Head of Corporate and Commercial at Brachers
