Ward & Partners Children's Awards open for business.

Do you know a brave youngster who deserves to be recognised at the Ward & Partners Children's Awards 2013?

The awards, which are in their 11th year, were established to recognise the efforts and achievements of courageous children, their families and the charities that support them.

The awards are backed by the KM Group, the Kent Community Foundation and Ward & Partners who have been involved from day one.

Group managing director David Lench said: "It was a real milestone to reach our tenth awards last year, and we are committed to continuing our support for deserving children across Kent.

"All of the directors here are lucky enough to have families that are healthy and we recognise that some families are not so lucky."

The awards culminate in a fun-packed presentation at the Maidstone Mecure Great Danes hotel.

Last year's event was hosted by long-time supporter Charlotte Hawkins, of Sky News, and featured performances from bands and magicians.

Over the coming weeks KentOnline will be profiling some of the children recognised at last year's awards in a series of special features.
