Boy hit by minibus in 'serious condition'

A 13-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a minibus in a Kent town.

The collision happened at around 3.30pm on Friday in Marlborough Road, Gillingham, and involved a white Mercedes Sprinter minibus.

The boy was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital and is said to be in a serious condition.
