Cello trio bow in to Westcoast bar

Celloman, the cello playing trio of Ivan Bussey, Samy Bishai and Oli Savill, give two performances in Margate and Ramsgate this weekend (August 8 and 9).

The band has performed extensively around Britain, including many of the major festivals such as Glastonbury and Womad. They haveperformed in Serbia twice and played a series of gigs in Spain.

Celloman’s sound is a blend of middle eastern and African rhythms, east and west inspired melodies, harmonies and funky bass and drums.

You can catch Celloman live at the Westcoast Bar in Margate’s King Street on Friday August 8 from 8pm when tickets cost £6. This is a benefit concert for the NSPCC. The following day, Saturday August 9, they play at the Belgian Bar in Harbour parade, Ramsgate, from 8pm. Entry is free on this occasion.
