Condition of crash victim 'very serious'

POLICE are seeking witnesses to a road accident that happened at about 3pm on Friday, October 21, in Tankerton Road, junction with Graystone Road at Tankerton.

A blue Ford Transit van was in collision with a blue Ford Fiesta. The elderly driver of the Fiesta, believed to be from the Canterbury area, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital in Margate with head injuries.

His condition has since deteriorated and is said to be "very serious".
