A cyclist has died after being involved in a crash with a lorry in Manston Road, Ramsgate.

The accident, which involved a white Mercedes LGV lorry, happened at around 6.20am Monday.

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The lorry driver was taken to the QEQM Hospital at Margate suffering from shock.

The road was closed after the crash but a police spokesman said just after 11am that it should reopen shortly.
