An investigation has been launched after a fire at a pub near
Maidstone.

Almost 30 firefighters were called to tackle the blaze at
the Oak on the Green in Bearsted just before 8am today.

It is thought the fire could have been started by an electrical
fault in the ground floor kitchen.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said crews had the fire under
control by about 10.30am and no one was injured.
