Every day could be a sundae for ice
cream shop owner Steve Graham - who's putting his life up for
sale!

Businessman Steve, who owns Sundae
Sundae in Whitstable's Harbour Street, is selling up.

But there's more topping to this sale
than just the ice cream shop - Steve's also marketing his home
in Terry's Lane, Whitstable and his beach hut on Tankerton Slopes.
The asking price is £675,000 for the lot.

The three properties were put on the market on a website called whitstabledream.com.

Here viewers are asked Could this be
your future? The Town, Whitstable; The Cottage, two minutes from
the sea; The Shop/Business, A four-minute commute; The Beach Hut,
Fantastic sea views.

Mr Graham said he had decided to sell
up and move away from Whitstable, although he added that he would
probably eventually return and buy another property.

"Until then, after I have sold
everything, I intend to go travelling," he said. "I am not making
any firm plans until the properties have been sold, but I am hoping
to do some travelling."

Mr Graham has a winter home in the
Canary Islands and he says he hopes that whoever buys his house,
business and beach hut will live in the town and get involved in
the community.

"Sundae Sundae is a good business but
we shall see what happens," he said. "The website was put up only
on Friday and already it has received lots of hits so there seems
to be a great deal of interest."

Mr Graham's cottage is set over three
floors and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and an NHBC
warranty.

It is four minutes' walk from his
business in Harbour Street, which is a freehold, well-established
ice cream/seaside store.

It has planning permission pending for
a holiday flat with its own separate entrance. Training and advice
on running the shop will be given by a retail expert.

  • Mr Graham's wife Jan died after being hit by a train on the Glebe Way crossing in Whitstable on December27, 2010.
