New Dover manager Ian Hendon has made former Gillingham defender Tom Wynter his first signing at Crabble.

Wynter, pictured, is expected to sign a two-year contract with Dover when his current Priestfield deal expires this summer.

The 19-year-old, who played five games on loan at Dover last season, was released by Gillingham following their relegation from League 1.

Wynter made nine appearances for the Gills last season after making his debut against Brentford on Boxing Day. But he fell out of favour following a 4-0 defeat at Brentford in the corresponding fixture and only featured once more for Mark Stimson's side.
